Program Details

Learn the basic fundamentals of Gymnastics. This class will introduce participants to all gymnastics apparatus; Floor Exercise, Vault, High Bar, Uneven Bars, Trampoline, Rings, Tumble Track, Pommel Horse, Balance Beam and Parallel Bars. Instruction will include flexibility, strength, tumbling basics, fundamental on all apparatus and basic spotting. Prerequisites: Willingness to work hard at things that may be scary or difficult and that require some strength and flexibility. No prior gymnastics experience is required. Fees 1x/week Students/Post-docs: $35 Staff and faculty: $70 Alumni, hospital employees, partners, spouses, retirees, dependents over 18: $75 BeWell: $35 (eligible Stanford staff and faculty who have completed their SHALA in the current year)
